Our Story

Our Mission

At Choris, our mission is simple but powerful:

To connect growing businesses with virtual professionals who are skilled, vetted, and committed — not just available.

We believe that hiring remote talent should be a strategic advantage, not a gamble. The right professional — placed in the right role — can transform a business. But most platforms treat virtual staffing as a numbers game. Post a job. Pick a profile. Cross your fingers.
We do things differently.

We built Choris as a response to everything that’s broken with traditional remote staffing:
  • Impersonal hiring processes
  • Misaligned candidates with questionable skills
  • High turnover, low engagement
  • A “race to the bottom” in pay and quality
Instead, we offer something far more valuable:
  • Thoughtful recruiting based on discovery and alignment
  • Bilingual professionals with verified skills and professionalism
  • Human support, onboarding guidance, and long-term retention strategies
  • A partner who cares as much about your team as you do

We don’t fill roles.

We build relationships — and deliver outcomes.

Our Founders

Choris was created by two entrepreneurs who live on both sides of the hiring table: as business owners trying to build great teams, and as staffing experts solving one of the most frustrating parts of scaling — finding people you can trust.

Marko Evans

Co-Founder & CEO

Marko brings an operator’s urgency and a recruiter’s empathy to Choris. With a background in team development, marketing, and global sales strategy, Marko has helped scale multiple high-growth companies with a focus on performance, integrity, and people-first leadership. What drives him?

A deep belief that talent is everywhere — but opportunity isn’t.

That’s why Marko leads Choris’ outreach and candidate success efforts in Latin America. His mission is to ensure that every candidate who enters our pipeline is supported, respected, and set up to thrive in long-term, U.S.-based roles.

He believes the virtual staffing world doesn’t need more volume.
It needs more vision.

And that’s what he delivers, every day.

Brett Howell

Co-Founder & Strategic Lead

Brett is a veteran technology consultant and entrepreneur with over two decades of experience leading product development, enterprise systems design, and team structuring across multiple industries.

He’s built teams. He’s scaled companies.
And he’s lived through the pain of making the wrong hire.

That’s why Brett designed the core systems and vetting frameworks that power the Choris model.

From workflow alignment to interview scoring to onboarding protocols, Brett ensures that every client receives a repeatable, proven process — not just a one-off placement.

He’s also deeply involved in client strategy, helping businesses define their hiring needs and structure roles that lead to long-term success.

Where We Hire

Our recruiting focus is 100% nearshore — specifically in Latin America, where we find world-class virtual professionals with U.S.-level skills, bilingual fluency, and real-time availability across Eastern and Central time zones.

We don’t recruit “anyone from anywhere.”
We concentrate where we know the culture, talent base, and communication expectations will align with our clients.
